I didn’t write out New Years Resolutions for 2020 like I did every year. Instead I made a commitment to read 20 books in 2020, including the Bible.
It was refreshing to only have one goal for the year. I was pregnant the first half of the year with my second and had a new baby for the second half of the year.
My husband got me a kindle for Christmas in 2019 which was perfect timing. If you are a mama who likes to read you need a kindle!
You also need to download the overdrive app. All you need is a library card and you have access to almost any book you can think of, for free!
I kept adding holds to books and when they became available I would rent them. Each book went perfectly with a struggle I was facing at that moment in the year. It was God the order I read these books. It was never planned, I always just rented when a book became available.
Here are the books I read and the order I read them in. I’ve also included links to the books so you can check them out for yourself. The books with stars next to them are the ones I ordered a hard copy of because they were that good!

The Holy Bible
This was my first time reading through the entire Bible in a year and it was life changing! I made a promise to do it every year after.
When I look at the list I’m still in awe of the amazing authors and titles I read. It truly was a special year with each book pointing me to Jesus.
What are your favorite books I should add to my reading list?
