Recipe of the Week- Crockpot Carnitas

I love crockpot recipes, throw it in in the morning or while you’re making your lunch and forget about it until dinner = the best kind of recipes! Especially for busy families.

This week I’m bringing a quick and easy Carnitas recipe for you from YellowBlissRoad. This recipe is made with only real ingredients which I am all about. If you’ve followed me for a while you know me and my family follow a real food lifestyle. You can read more about that here.

I usually make this recipe for chipotle bowls. Add the carnitas, brown rice or quinoa, black beans, corn, tomatoes, salsa, avocado, shredded mozzarella cheese, and plain greek yogurt (We use this as sour cream, and I promise you can’t tell the difference, the key is buying plain greek yogurt though).

But there are many other ways to eat this recipe, which Kristin talks about on her blog below.

You won’t be disappointed with this recipe, it’s definitely one your whole family will love. I’ve even made it for friends and it’s always been a hit!
